For the last two years I have been working on putting together my mother's family history. It started out with an small idea and has grown into an extensive project. I wrote the book about my mothers family surname SAAVEDRA, which were in Mapimi Durango, then in Santa Rosalia, Camargo then moved to El Paso, Tx. because of the Mexican Revolution.
I 'm afraid I posted my message on the wrong place in ranchos.
If one of the MODERATORS would please move it to this site I would appreciate it very much. I had a blast learning power point and learning how I could bring in all sorts of clip art, photos, documents etc. It's definately worth the time and effort to learn, now all of my family will have a copy of the book "Saavedra Family Genealogy 1600's to XXI Century"
in CD form instead of paper.
