Greetings To All

My name is Betty Ritchley and like many of you, I have a rich and proud family ancestry based in Zacatecas. My mother's family started out in Los Jauregui, Nochistlan de Mejia, Zacatecas with Cristoval Manuel Jauregui Yanez and Catarina de Sarate Aramburu. The families kept migrating north, eventually settling in San Miguel de los Anchos in Chihuahua. My grandparents, Librado Quiroz and Maria Trinidad Rodriguez y Solis, eventually moved to Juarez, Chihuahua to escape the revolution.

I have been researching our family for a while now and have learned so much. If I can share any information that I have found, please let me know. I want to say how very glad that I have found all of you and look forward to working with you to learn more about our families and how they connect.

    Welcome Prima

Good to have another cousin. I looked at the following record of your relatives and worked my way back.

    Christoval Manuel Jáuregui Ximénez
    1730–1789 • GSZ9-8DJ
    Marriage: 17 FEB 1745Nochistlan,Zacatecas,Mexico

    Catharina De Sarate y Aramburu
    1725–Deceased • GSZ9-68F

I noticed you re related to many of us here through the Islas (Diego Delgadillo cc Petrona Gonsales Moscoso). There is another Margarita Martin de Sotomayor who is a single mother but not sure as i did not have her as a child of Andres Martin de Sotomayor (but I haven't reviewed it). You are also related to my cousins the Lomelins and if I could ever find the parents of Manuel Rodriguez 1750 cc to Petra Alonzo (Pinos, Las Vuidas, Aguascalientes or San Luis Potosi) maybe through the Rodriguez as well.

    Welcome!

Welcome Betty! I have a LOT of Jauregui DNA matches but have yet to figure out where they come in on my tree. My Paternal side were all mainly for Nochistlan, Los Duranes, Monte de Yanez, Zapopan, La Venta, and La Primavera. And same here! I'm willing to share any information that may help anyone else out here. My pedigree chart is posted here in Files :)
